An art teacher in Niagara Falls parochial and public schools from 1987 to 1996, Farrell holds a master’s degree in art education from Buffalo State. She worked out of a studio in the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center from 2001-2005.

Farrell created “Herd About Buffalo Visits Niagara Falls;” the four original pieces were donated to Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She painted more than 200 hubcaps, inspired by Western New York’s “Art on Wheels” public art project.  She also paints portraits, falls’ scenes, buildings, and still-lifes. In addition, she works with area artists at a senior citizen facility in the Lasalle area of Niagara Falls, and teaches calligraphy.
