It looks like graffiti, but the message is heartfelt. This guitar explodes with the poems of hope written by middle school students coupled with song lyrics written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

The design symbolizes the youth of our community as they express their dreams in words emanating “straight from the heart.”

The school, located on West Delevan Avenue, is named after famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, who created Buffalo’s original park system.
