Combining his love of drawing and sports, this self-taught airbrush artist, raised in Rochester, New York, has established himself as one of the top graphic artists in North America.

Using a computer as a creative tool, he creates custom artwork for use on keepsake sports items, such as tickets and posters. One of his images commemorates former Buffalo Bills Quarterback Jim Kelly’s induction into the team’s Wall of Fame.

Dawes also is the official artist of the Fort Lauderdale Air & Sea Show. His “American Guitar” was painted live during the event announcing the Guitars for Hope project during 2005’s WNED Buffalo Niagara Guitar Festival.
